The New Brighton Residents Association is proud to host several events each year. These events are free to attend and open to all New Brighton residents (in good standing). Due to space constraints, some events require RSVP.

Tween's Night Out (10-14yrs)

Tween Night (10-14 yrs only) - 7pm-8:30pm Let’s have some fun to the Clubhouse! New Brighton Tweens (10-14 yrs only) are invited to a night of games, competitions & good times.  Doors open at 7pm so grab your friends and meet us there. *Tweens ages 10 & 11 must have a parent sign them in & out to participate.* ($2 drop in, includes snacks)   RSVP is required

Movie Night Popcorn Packs

Looking to kick up your Family Movie Night a notch? The NBRA is now offering $12 Movie Night Popcorn Packs!  Each pack includes: 2 Medium bags of Theatre-Style Popcorn 2 Juice boxes 2 Pop (your choice from assorted selection) 2 Chocolate bars (your choice from assorted selection) 2 Candy treats (your choice from assorted selection) To place orders, please call 403-781-6613 ext 1 Orders must be placed by 5pm Thursday, December 11th                                   Pick up for boxes Friday, December 12th between 5:30pm-7:30pm Packs are $12.+ GST

Babysitting Night

Want a night out without the kids? Let us look after your little ones while you enjoy some quality time. Children must be fully potty trained. Registration is required by registering online (My Programs, Workshops) https://nbra.perfectmind.com, visiting the front desk or by calling 403-781-6613 ext 1 Residents: $25/child Non-Residents: $30/child Pizza, a light snack & drink will be offered during the evening. Please feel free to pack nut free snacks/drinks for your children should they need more. *please note: In order to confirm registration, payment will be taken at time of booking.    

Gingerbread House Workshop

Join us for a fun and festive Christmas Family Gingerbread House Workshop where families can come together to build and decorate their own gingerbread houses, all materials and supplies provided! Enjoy a classic Christmas movie playing in the background, snacks to keep the holiday spirit high, and a cozy, creative atmosphere perfect for all ages. Don’t miss this sweet opportunity to make lasting holiday memories! Register under Workshops. Price is $35/family for residents

Tot Time

Tot Time (Wednesdays 1:30pm-3:00pm) - $2.Drop in Bring your little ones and join a fun afternoon of socialization and unstructured free play with the Bounce House. Parents can enjoy coffee and great company while the kids bounce around!      

Santa Letter Drop-Off

Santas red mailbox is back in the Clubhouse and his elves are getting ready to answer all the special letters delivered by residents of New Brighton! Letters must be dropped off by 9pm on December 17th 2025 to ensure his elves have the time needed to mail them back. This service is for New Brighton residents only and letters will only be mailed to New Brighton addresses. How to get your letter to Santa (and make sure it gets returned!): Write a special letter to Santa. Include a return address so his elves know where to send a response to. Drop the letter off at the New Brighton Clubhouse in our red mailbox (inside the Clubhouse next to the office). All letters must be received before December 17th at 9pm to ensure a response before the holidays.

Family Night Bingo

Join us at the Clubhouse for a fun-filled Family Bingo Night! Bring the whole family for an evening of excitement, laughter, and a little friendly competition. Whether you're a bingo pro or a first-timer, everyone is welcome to play along and enjoy the thrill of shouting "Bingo!" $5/family RSVP required  

Good Food Box

The Good Food Box (GFB) is a program under the Community Kitchen Program of Calgary whereby you can purchase fresh fruits and vegetables at a very low cost. The Good Food Box is a hands-up program as opposed to hands-out. They offer all Calgarians’ sustainable access to nutritious food to ensure that no one has to go hungry. The boxes are put together and delivered by dedicated volunteers who along with The Community Kitchen desire to see individuals and families accessing affordable nutritious food.  Cut off: December 2nd at NOON Delivery: December 12th                                             Small: $30 Medium: $35 Large: $40

Valentine's Skate

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and so is the sweet smell of hot chocolate! Come on down to the New Brighton Clubhouse on Friday, February 13th, 2026, for a fun-filled Valentine's Skate. Skate with your special someone, sip on some warm hot chocolate, and grab some free Valentine's Day candy while you're at it! New Brighton Night at the Museum

Registrations are now open for the 2026 New Brighton Night at the Museum, call 403-781-6613 EXT 1. to register your family! This unique event takes place on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 6:30pm until the following morning at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. Camper tickets are $39.99 (GST included)/person & include a variety of games/activities, snacks, a delicious breakfast, and full museum admission on the 28th! From September 24th - January 6th only New Brighton Residents may register for this event. Past January 6th this event will be open to anyone living outside of the New Brighton community. Children must be aged 5-13 years to attend the sleepover, this is a Royal Tyrrell Museum rule Children attending the museum sleepover must have an adult staying the night with them.  All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the museum. Refunds prior to January 14th 2026 will be subject to a $15.75 event cancellation fee. No-refunds will be given past January 14th 2026. Bunny Hop Eggstravaganza

Bring your basket and bounce over to the Clubhouse for a day filled with Easter-themed crafts, games, and a thrilling egg hunt! A photo booth will be set up to capture your memories with New Brighton's Easter Bunny. Don't forget to search the Clubhouse for eggs, and be on the lookout for golden eggs for a chance to win an extra special prize! This event will run from 10am-12pm & 1pm-3pm split up hourly using timeslots residents will be able to RSVP for. Comedy at the Clubhouse

Treat yourself to a night of laughs! A new year brings another one of New Brighton's favourite events, Comedy at the Clubhouse! Enjoy standout local comedians, sip cold craft beverages, and snack on delicious appetizers! Tickets for the Comedy at the Clubhouse will go on sale March 11th at noon. More information will be posted on the New Brighton social media accounts and this event page when available.  

Festival of Flavours

Do you want to give your taste buds a kick & see exciting cultural entertainment groups? Take a trip to the New Brighton Clubhouse and grab a meal from a great local food truck, and make sure to leave some room so you can take part in games and activities! Food Trucks will be updated closer to this event... Entertainment Groups will be updated closer to this event... New Brighton Cleanup

More information will be provided about this City of Calgary free community cleanup event closer to the date. Exact date is TBD.

Stampede Breakfast

Don’t miss out on attending New Brighton's largest event of the year! Mosey on down to the Clubhouse Saturday, July 11th, from 9am-noon and take part in all the Western festivities. Enjoy the free pancake breakfast, play great carnival games, relax with live entertainment, and remember to stop by the petting zoo! Grab your friends, family, neighbours and any cowpokes you find to enjoy one of the best Stampede Breakfasts in the South, open to everyone and absolutely free! More information about this event will be available as we get closer to Stampede, yahoo! This event is open to the public, therefore RSVP is not required. Friendly reminders from the NBRA: Pets are not allowed at the breakfast, we love our furry friends but they are unfortunately not allowed into the Clubhouse area on this day due to food preparation and farm animals being present, an exception is made to registered and marked service animals. The NBRA office will be closed July 11th from 9am-3pm. Phones and emails will not be answered during this time. This event is open to residents and non-residents, grab your friendly, family and neighbor's and come enjoy a FREE breakfast. Pork sausages and buttermilk pancakes will be served. There will be options for vegetarian sausages.
