This comprehensive Babysitting course, taught by certified Canadian Red Cross instructors, prepares youth ages 11–15 to confidently care for children and respond to emergencies. Students learn leadership, professionalism, managing difficult behaviour, and essential First Aid skills, including CPR, choking, anaphylaxis, asthma, wound care, seizures, poisoning, and injuries. The course uses updated science and engaging learning methods to provide practical, relevant knowledge for today’s babysitters. Upon completion, students receive a Canadian Red Cross Babysitting Certificate and a PDF course manual to support their learning and strengthen their résumé.
Participants should pack a doll & diaper, pen, lunch, and a water bottle.
