Rink Update December 27, 2023

The NBRA Maintenance Team has been working hard to get the Hockey and Pleasure Rinks open for the season.  The plus temperatures from last Wednesday - Saturday melted much of the previously built base away.

Since these rinks do not have chiller units, the NBRA relies solely on cold temperatures to freeze the water.  Typically a stretch of about 6 to 10 days of -10 or lower temperatures are required to build the ice to a thickness safe for skating.

Thank you so much for your patience and understanding as we navigate this warmer weather. It will posted on FaceBook, Instagram, and the Website as soon as the rinks are ready!
