The New Brighton Residents Association is proud to host several events each year. These events are free to attend and open to all New Brighton residents (in good standing). Due to space constraints, some events require RSVP.

Tween's Night Out (10-14yrs)

Tween Night (10-14 yrs only) - 7pm-8:30pm Let’s have some fun to the Clubhouse! New Brighton Tweens (10-14 yrs only) are invited to a night of games, competitions & good times.  Doors open at 7pm so grab your friends and meet us there. *Tweens ages 10 & 11 must have a parent sign them in & out to participate.* ($2 drop in, includes snacks)   RSVP is required

Annual General Meeting

The New Brighton Residents Association is pleased to host the 2025 Annual General Meeting virtually through Zoom at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Residents who plan on attending the AGM must pre-register prior to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Please click the RSVP button below to register. Upon receiving your registration, you will receive a confirmation email containing further information. The meeting will begin promptly at 7:00 p.m. on October 7, 2025. Any late arrivals will be unable to vote once the scrutineer's report has been delivered. All residents who plan on attending the AGM must be in good standing with the NBRA. Unable to attend? That’s okay! Please take 5 minutes to submit your proxy vote instead of attending. The proxy is available below. Please complete it and email it to gm@nbra.ca by 5 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2025.   2025 NBRA Annual General Meeting Proxy Held each year, the NBRA Annual General Meeting provides residents with the perfect opportunity to receive updates regarding NBRA operations and ask any outstanding questions that they may have. For residents with an email on file with the association, an electronic copy of the AGM package was sent to your email address at noon on September 10, 2025. Those residents who do not have an email address on file will have a copy mailed to them on Tuesday, September 9, 2025. If you have not received a copy of this package prior to Monday, September 15, 2025, either electronically or via mail, please visit the New Brighton Clubhouse located at 2 New Brighton Drive, email admin@nbra.ca, or call 403-781-6613, X:1 to request a copy. Halloween Spooktacular

Do you have what it takes to walk through the haunted halls of the New Brighton Clubhouse? The NBRA is calling all goblins and ghouls to join in on the fun at the Clubhouse on Oct 25th to enjoy scares, a photobooth, games, crafts, and lots of candy! Grand South Christmas Market

Vendor registrations are now open! Please click the following link to download our vendor registration package, thank you! Vendor Application - Fillable  Double tables are no longer available, SINGLE TABLES are still available The NBRA is looking for in-kind donatations to add to the Grand South Market stocking! This stocking is made in association with all other communities participating and will be raffled off to one lucky winner! 12 Days of Giving

Keep your eyes on the New Brighton social media accounts from December 4th to the 15th and participate in the 2025 12 Days of Giving! A fantastic new basket of hand selected items will be posted each day with a prompt on how you can enter the giveaway raffle.  The winner of each basket will be shared the following day at 10am, with a new basket being posted the following hour at 11am. Participation is open to everyone, both residents of New Brighton and non-residents living outside the community! All winners are selected via random chance using wheelofnames.com.

Christmas in the Clubhouse

The weather outside is frightful, but Santa’s cheer is so delightful! On Saturday, December 6th, 2025 Santa will be making a special appearance at the New Brighton Clubhouse! Little residents and their families are invited to Santa’s workshop to get their picture taken, share their Christmas wish, and participate in holiday-inspired activities/crafts. A New Brighton Murder Mystery

Join your neighbours and friends for an unforgettable evening of suspense, intrigue, and delicious food at the New Brighton Clubhouse! Immerse yourself in a thrilling whodunit as you work together with fellow residents to unravel the mystery and catch the culprit. Will you crack the case before it's too late? Don’t miss this fun-filled, interactive event full of twists and turns. Grab your detective hat and join us for a night of unforgettable entertainment! The Clubhouse is proud to work with PegasusPerformances to bring the show, DEATH CHECKS IN, to New Brighton! It’s 1910 & the Alberta Central Railway has begun construction on a railroad across the middle of the province. There are fortunes to be made if you can guess where the rail line will go & get in early. Five desperate people converge on the Lucky Guest Hotel in Rocky Mountain House, where fate, destiny, & murder will collide as Death Checks In. Valentine's Skate

Valentine's Day is right around the corner, and so is the sweet smell of hot chocolate! Come on down to the New Brighton Clubhouse on Friday, February 13th, 2026, for a fun-filled Valentine's Skate. Skate with your special someone, sip on some warm hot chocolate, and grab some free Valentine's Day candy while you're at it! New Brighton Night at the Museum

Registrations are now open for the 2026 New Brighton Night at the Museum, call 403-781-6613 EXT 1. to register your family! This unique event takes place on Friday, February 27th 2026 at 6:30pm until the following morning at the Royal Tyrrell Museum in Drumheller. Camper tickets are $39.99 (GST included)/person & include a variety of games/activities, snacks, a delicious breakfast, and full museum admission on the 28th! From September 24th - January 6th only New Brighton Residents may register for this event. Past January 6th this event will be open to anyone living outside of the New Brighton community. Children must be aged 5-13 years to attend the sleepover, this is a Royal Tyrrell Museum rule Children attending the museum sleepover must have an adult staying the night with them.  All participants are responsible for their own transportation to and from the museum. Refunds prior to January 14th 2026 will be subject to a $15.75 event cancellation fee. No-refunds will be given past January 14th 2026. Bunny Hop Eggstravaganza

Bring your basket and bounce over to the Clubhouse for a day filled with Easter-themed crafts, games, and a thrilling egg hunt! A photo booth will be set up to capture your memories with New Brighton's Easter Bunny. Don't forget to search the Clubhouse for eggs, and be on the lookout for golden eggs for a chance to win an extra special prize!
